The install video on this page goes into more detail but those of you who have an F3T/Limited or the new 2020-21 RT know the problem we all have with loose mirrors and vibration. There are several ways to skin this cat and we came up with a fix that involved drilling and tapping a hole and using a bolt to wedge out the slop in the mirror. That worked but we never considered it a real or permanent fix. It was just a band-aid until we came up with a fix we were happy with.
Now we have something that works well and is pretty easy to install if you watch the video. This kit replaces the pins that snap in with a specially made stainless steel stud that is used with a stainless nut to lock the mirrors in so there is no slop in the mirror to mounting bracket. This eliminates the vibration in the mirrors at a very affordable price.

Mirror lock system
I have owned my 2020 Rt limited since February. The left mirror initially vibrated so bad at highway speeds so bad I had to put paper towels to make it usable. Also had a wide gap at the top. The dealer put a little foam behind it which did nothing. I purchased several other fixes including the BRP fix which was useless. I have spent over $ 100 on useless fixes. Most of which were so bad i I wouldn't put them on the right mirror which I thought was good. Your kit is excellent it stopped the shaking and closed the gap at the top of the mirror without the use of any shims. I now realize the right mirror has a small shake . Your kit made my day. Inexpensive easy to install and cures all mirror problems. Thank you Rick

Spyder mirror locks
These things are awesome and easy to install. They make way more sense as a long term solution than a triangular piece of foam.

This worked great my mirrors were moving around as you went down the road and was really irritating . I order your mirror locks and after about 1/2 hour to do both problem solved, best money I have ever spent if you have the same problem order these

Very nice product. Very promptly shipped. The locks installed easily and are 100% effective in eliminating the very annoying mirror shake. The one very small issue is that the mirror covers now have a small gap between the cover and the body of the Spyder. I only found it because I was looking for it.
