The install video on this page goes into more detail but those of you who have an F3T/Limited or the new 2020-21 RT know the problem we all have with loose mirrors and vibration. There are several ways to skin this cat and we came up with a fix that involved drilling and tapping a hole and using a bolt to wedge out the slop in the mirror. That worked but we never considered it a real or permanent fix. It was just a band-aid until we came up with a fix we were happy with.
Now we have something that works well and is pretty easy to install if you watch the video. This kit replaces the pins that snap in with a specially made stainless steel stud that is used with a stainless nut to lock the mirrors in so there is no slop in the mirror to mounting bracket. This eliminates the vibration in the mirrors at a very affordable price.

LAMONSTER SPYDER MIRROR LOCKS
Shipping was fast. The mirror locks offer amazing stability on my 2013 STS. Mounting the locks was a bit more involved than mounting on the F3. Top bolt was a bugger. Worked great after I temporarily removed the Turn signal light. Definitely worth the time, cost , and effort.

Another great LaMonster solution to an inadequate design by Can-Am. Straightforward installation, especially with the video (well done BTW) and tightens up the mirrors significantly. Keep up the good work bringing solutions to issues with the Spyder. Two Thumbs Up!

Thank goodness!
After my covers blew off twice, and completely destroying one the 2nd time, these locks could not have come at a better time. Not a pretty sight ridding around with the covers missing. shame on BRP for not fixing this. got replaced under warranty. I consider myself lucky in that regard. Hopefully problem solved!
