The install video on this page goes into more detail but those of you who have an F3T/Limited or the new 2020-21 RT know the problem we all have with loose mirrors and vibration. There are several ways to skin this cat and we came up with a fix that involved drilling and tapping a hole and using a bolt to wedge out the slop in the mirror. That worked but we never considered it a real or permanent fix. It was just a band-aid until we came up with a fix we were happy with.
Now we have something that works well and is pretty easy to install if you watch the video. This kit replaces the pins that snap in with a specially made stainless steel stud that is used with a stainless nut to lock the mirrors in so there is no slop in the mirror to mounting bracket. This eliminates the vibration in the mirrors at a very affordable price.

Mirror lock for 2020 Spyder F3 Limited
Wonderful mod! Thank you for developing it. It worked perfectly. There’s no way I would EVER have yanked up on the mirror assembly to snap it out of its housing if I hadn’t watched the video. Worked like a charm. Now, how about a fix for the cheesy plastic hinges on the stock side saddlebags? Mine broke on the right side (above muffler) the 2nd time I opened it. There has to be a way to make a better design out of metal to keep the lid from clattering to the ground. $32k bike with such cheap hardware??? But those mirror locks rock!!

Mirror Locks
Super easy installation. Lamonster's installation video makes it that way. I have about 10,000 miles on my 2020 RTL and before installing the locks the mirrors were vibrating quite a bit. Now they are perfectly still. Love it.

Spyder mirror locks
They made a world of difference. Fairly easy to install. With lights in mirrors, they need to be removed to be able to tighten nuts.

Mirrors no longer shaky!
1. Easy to install the bolt system. 2. Mirror vibration 99% eliminated. At night, before this, car lights were circles. Now, lights are lights. I can SEE!
