If you've ever had trouble closing your fuel cap or felt like you were going to break off the key doing it this is the mod for you. As an F3 owner and a pretty strong man I too have trouble closing my fuel cap. I tried different types of lubricant and they will work for a while but sooner or later you're going to start having trouble again. When I bought my 2017 F3 Limited I was hoping it would be better than my 2015 and our 2016 but to my surprise it was worse than both of them. That's when I decided to fix the problem once and for all. Soon after the IPS keyless fuel cap was born.

Keyless Gas Cap is AWESOME!
After having my F3Limited for a little over 2 1/2 years, I was determined to get the keyless gas cap this year at SITO. What a difference this makes when getting gas. No more worrying that I won't be able to get my gas cap closed and locked, or that my key will break off. So happy with this.

IPS Keyless Fuel Cap
This is a wonderful upgrade to Can Am fuel filler assembly. It is a little tricky to get the nut off but it is very much worth it not to have to struggle with the original keyed door.

Replaced gas cap, wow, so much easier to work. Don’t have to worry now when i get gas about getting it closed.

Gas cap upgrade
This high quality gas cap is a “must have” for your Spyder! The stock cap is a failed design from an otherwise excellent manufacturing company. This offering by Lamonster should be the FIRST change you make for your bike....do it before you twist off your key!!! I dreaded refueling before, but now it’s just like filling up my car.

Keyless Fuel Cap
I did this install when I had the F3 in a naked condition to do some other installs, so it was a bit easier as I could see that pesky nut for the ground connection. As usual, a stellar product! It is well made, looks great, and provides perfect replacement for that keyed cap that I was beginning to fight. Thank you for a great product.

Fuel cap
Very well made, attractive, and of course functional. It was a bit tricky using the provided tool to grab the nut under the grounding screw, but doable. Similarly using the also provided tool to fish the wire out from the cap to replace the ground. But once those two steps are done, you’re home free. One tip – cover the tank opening with masking tape so you don’t accidentally drop an Allen wrench into the fuel tank. I love the way it looks and works.

Ease of install
Great product to defeat those stubborn gas caps. While you can fish around and remove gas cap without removing panels, highly recommend doing so especially if new at mods. A must have product though!!!
