If you've ever had trouble closing your fuel cap or felt like you were going to break off the key doing it this is the mod for you. As an F3 owner and a pretty strong man I too have trouble closing my fuel cap. I tried different types of lubricant and they will work for a while but sooner or later you're going to start having trouble again. When I bought my 2017 F3 Limited I was hoping it would be better than my 2015 and our 2016 but to my surprise it was worse than both of them. That's when I decided to fix the problem once and for all. Soon after the IPS keyless fuel cap was born.

Nice Addition
This cap is a great replacement to the over engineered factory set up. It is however not all that easy to install. Oh yes it is straight forward but getting it all lined up right is likened to rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time. Once in it looks great.....with one excpeption. I wish LaMonster would offer a set of BLACK replacement screws for people who want to go that route.

Looks awesome
Bought this initially because the stock keyed fuel cap is a huge embarrassing failure. Without hesitation I can recommend the LaMonster fuel cap for looks and function. Straight black looks great on my 2015 f3s. Do this upgrade before you break off a key or can't open/close the stock fuel cap, that sucks while you're on a ride. Consider the alternative cost of a broken key, tow home and lost riding time. I think this is a great deal, glad to have it! Thanks

AWESOME!! And and Easy Install
No more wrestling with he locking gas cap!! I'd have to stand up on the pegs and put my whole a** in it to push it down until I heard the "click". Now all I have to remember to do is get the nozzle down in there before I start pumping so there's no splash back (thanks for the tip, Lamont!!). Super easy install - even for me who can't tell one tool from the next. Thanks so much for the install videos. I have no patience to reach written directions, but the install videos are great!!

Thank you, Lamont & Jacob, for another spot on install video. I am a 56 year old one - don't know one tool from the next - and am awful at following written directions. But, give me a well produced video - and I got this!!!
