Stage 2 / Adjustment Features
Rebound
Controls the speed at which the shock absorber returns to its fully extended position after being compressed, keeping the wheels on the ground for maximum traction and reducing the recoil effect caused by the spring pressure pushing back after being compressed.
To use, turn the adjuster clockwise to slow down the rebound or turn counter-clockwise to speed up the rebound.
Preload
Available as a manual threaded adjuster or convenient remote hydraulic preload adjuster. Lets the rider fine-tune the initial force applied on the springs and precisely balance the weight distribution across the front and rear of the vehicle while setting up the ride height (sag) and to lower or raise the vehicle to adapt to various situations or to suit your personal preference.
To use, turn the preload adjustment ring clockwise (from top of the shock) to increase preload and raise the vehicle or turn counter-clockwise to reduce preload and lower the vehicle.

Elka Stage 2’s
Put these on my 2017 RT LTD. I live in S Utah and ride on a lot of curvey mountain roads. There have been many times I did not feel comfortable riding the speed limit on some of these roads. The Elka’s preload limits the body roll and increases my confidence. They were harder to install than expected mainly due to my difficulty in working low to the ground trying to get to the upper bolts. Once on, it was worth it. These along with the Ron Jon sway bar that was already on the bike make a huge difference.

Fantastic Addition
I came to write a glowing review of these shock/springs. I installed them on my 2020 Spyder RT-L. We are pretty big folks and ride two up all the time, the difference is dramatic, and completely changes the cornering. What once was a tippy, hard to control beast was turned into go cart type handling. It just sticks, and doesn't lean. We did add the Sway Bar (BajaRon), and it helps too, but the springs were the most dramatic. Some favorite roads increased average speeds from 35 to 45 and it felt in perfect control. We don't speed really, it is just nice to have extra handling in reserve. Anyway Barry Fogels review says it all, I totally agree with him,. You must get these.
