Product Description
The Stage 4 Spyder shocks offer the performance of our latest technology in a package that is more accessible and easier to use. They are ideal for enthusiasts who are looking for high-performance shocks with great adjustability of key parameters.
Adjustments:
– Low-Speed Compression
– Rebound
– Spring Preload
OUR STAGE 4 SHOCKS ARE DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO WANT ADVANCED SHOCKS FOR THEIR SPYDER IN AN EASY-TO-USE PACKAGE
The Stage 4 model is derived directly from our top-end Stage 5 model, with which it shares most of the same components. It features a single external compression adjustment knob that controls the low-speed compression damping that is combined with an internal high-speed blow-off circuit which provides a firm and stable ride that is still very compliant to soak up bumps and potholes, all this in a package that is more accessible and easier to adjust. This product provides you adjustability over key aspects of the suspension and therefore might require some testing and fine-tuning to obtain maximum performance. With adjustability comes responsibility!

Stage 4 Elka rear shock. 2016 F3T
Instantly could tell a difference. I like ease a adjustability. Still working to find perfect Settings. I have stage 3 on the front . Handles so much better money well spent.

Elka stage 4 rear shock for Spyder F3S
Works well, much better than stock especially on the crap streets we have in San Bernardino. Followed the install instructions and in retro spec probably would have been easier to remove the rear tire. My under tray is not removable due to the Cortech saddle bag mounts, tried removing them but they were locked in place. I did have to carve some of the under tray away to clear the remove adjuster hose, a Dremel with a cut off wheel made short work of it. Came adjusted just about right, I have been fiddling with the compression and rebound settings to accommodate the less than stellar roads around here and it does make a difference in the way the bike takes the bumps. Overall quite satisfied with the Elka.

Came adjusted just about right, I made some minor tweaks to the rebound and compression to accommodate the crap roads in San Bernardino . Install was a bit of a chore cause the top mounting bolt is not easy to get to, in retrospect I think removing the real wheel and the under tray would have been the easier way to go. All in all my Spyder feels more planted and rides over the sharp bumps ( which are very plentiful) much better than the stocker. Only critique is I had to cut away some of the under tray to clear the hose, wasn't to big of a chore with my trusty Dremel and a cut off wheel. I recommend this addition for anyone who wants a smoother more controlled ride.
