MAGNETS ARE EXTREMELY FRAGILE DURING THE INSTALL PROCESS! WHEN
INSTALLING THEM DO ONE AT A TIME AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DO NOT PUT
THEM ALONGSIDE EACH OTHER ONCE SEPARATED FROM PACKAGING AS THEY WILL
BREAK IF THEY SNAP BACK TOGETHER. THIS WOULD NOT BE A DEFECT THAT
COULD BE WARRANTIED.
This is one of the slickest products for the RT for those of us that work on our own
bikes. If you do pretty much anything on the RT the mirrors have to come off. I've been
taking mirrors off the RT since 2009 and I hate it every time I do it. You have to beat
them off and then beat them back on again. I can't tell you how many clips I've had to
straighten out or replace. Chances are you will need them sooner or later.

Magic Mirror
Excellent product. Perfect fit and easy installation. I'm so happy that I don't have to pound the mirrors off again. BELIEVE IT when you are told to use caution handling the magnets. They have a mind of their own - they do jump together and are very difficult to separate.

Get this one
I bought my Spider RT Limited in 2014. I have done quite a bit of customizing to it. As you know almost everything cause the mirrors to be removed. They were worn by the first three years of service on it. Metal springs in plastic and a plastic top hanger are the pits and a bad manufacturing design. They are made to wear out as I examined them. Your product is superior and fits better than competitors. Those magnets are powerful and are very hard to pull apart if they come together. I am very impressed with your product, your video and your shipping.

Magic Mirrors are magical
I purchased two sets of magic mirrors--one for my 2012 RT and one for my wife's 2013 RT Ltd. I wish I had done this a long time ago. It's a simple solution for a frustrating design problem (BRP). Easy to install and a good investment for any one doing any maintenance on their own bikes (though I'm sure your mechanic will thank you as well).

Magic mirrors
Easy installation and they make your maintenance life with your Spyder much easier. I used zip ties around the electrical connection as a safety measure against the possibility of a mirror coming off while driving. After a couple of weeks riding with these installed, I believe this is completely unnecessary. As to a review that I saw that complained about the metal plates not being labeled, if you are not mechanically inclined enough to figure that out, you probably shouldn’t be trying to remove the mirrors and doing work on your Spyder in the first place.

Incredibly expensive for what they are but I can see how they will save a lot of aggravation in the future. You have to take off the mirrors for just about any maintenance work. Eventually, the stock mirror mounts would not stand up to the stress of multiple removal/reinstallation. This was my first maintenance procedure on my Spyder. I reviewed each step of the process watching the YouTube videos and it worked perfectly!
