The install video on this page goes into more detail but those of you who have an F3T/Limited or the new 2020-21 RT know the problem we all have with loose mirrors and vibration. There are several ways to skin this cat and we came up with a fix that involved drilling and tapping a hole and using a bolt to wedge out the slop in the mirror. That worked but we never considered it a real or permanent fix. It was just a band-aid until we came up with a fix we were happy with.
Now we have something that works well and is pretty easy to install if you watch the video. This kit replaces the pins that snap in with a specially made stainless steel stud that is used with a stainless nut to lock the mirrors in so there is no slop in the mirror to mounting bracket. This eliminates the vibration in the mirrors at a very affordable price.

2018 F3 L mirror locks
I installed this on a friend's f3 spyder after hearing him moan about his mirror shake . I seen this product when ordering add ons for my RT . This absolutely solves the problem . Installation wasn't to bad at all ! Way to go again to the crew at LAMONSTER GARAGE

These locks worked great; no more shaky mirrors. Install was easy, especially following the video. First side probably took 20 minutes, as I went slow. Second side was maybe 10 minutes.

Lamonster Mirror Locks
I decided to put these on my 2020 F3 Limited after noticing how much the mirrors vibrated at highway speeds. All I can say is WOW…I could not believe the difference this product made. Before objects in the mirror looked blurry due to the shaking now everything is sharp and crystal clear. I am not the most mechanically inclined but I will say Lamont’s video helped to make this a very easy install. Taking off the mirror cover was probably the hardest part and after watching the video it really wasn’t that big of a deal. This is one of those products from Lamonstergargage that I would tell my fellow Spyder friends it is a must have if you are experiencing shaky mirrors….simple cheap product that gives you a much improved riding experience.
