Kenda has released the Kanine KR20, the first and only aftermarket replacement tire designed specifically for the Can-Am Spyder. The high-performance pattern of the Kenda Kanine reduces the rolling resistance while maintaining maximum lateral traction, and is engineered with increased siping to evacuate standing water for excellent wet weather performance. The result is a Can-Am Spyder tire that provides higher mileage than stock while offering better handling than passenger car replacements. The Kanine KR20 is mc-spec, DOT, and E-Mark approved.

Kenda Kanine KR20 Rear Tire for the Can Am Spyder (225/50R15)
I only gave it 4 stars because I want to see how many miles I get out of it.. the stock Kenda always wore out in the middle on my 2013 RT and on my 2016 RT (yes I keep it with 28PSI as recommended) so we'll see what happens... We ride 2 up and so far it rides great..

Giving Kenda one more try.
I like to think of myself as open-minded. After having what seemed to be excessive tire wear from the original Kenda's that came with the Spyder. I changed to Vee Rubber's "Arachnid" tires and had better performance with them. Having learned about Kenda coming out with a "better version" of the Spyder tire I am giving them a try. Too early to tell how long they will last as I have only had them on the Spyder for a month or so and have hardly worn the little rubber nubs off of them. Tread pattern looks like it should work well with wet pavement, but that situation has not presented itself yet to confirm. They balanced nicely and ride smooth. The best I can say is "So far, so good."

Kenda Kanine KR20 tires
Love the new kanine KR20 tires. I've got 13,000 miles on them and they have been great. Great in all types of weather and conditions and a great price from Lamonster. Much Much better then the stock OEM kenda tire and you will get more miles guaranteed! I expect to get 15000+ on mine.

KENDA KANINE KR20 REAR TIRE FOR THE CAN AM SPYDER (225/50R15)
Very Pleased. Shipping was very fast. Tire feels much better on the road than the stock tire. Dealer installed and actually overheard their comments concerning this tire being an upgrade from their stock tires.
