Product Description
We stepped up our game at Lamonster Garage® and made a belt tensioner worthy of our Lamonster Garage® and IPS™ brand name.
We started with our signature twin bearing roller with oversized sealed bearings and roller to reduce roller rpm. This is the same roller we used on the oem tensioner that we've been selling for the last 3 years. We have thousands of these upgraded rollers in service with great user feedback. We see no reason to change something that works so well. This roller is still available as a replacement wear item just like brake pads. These should last 15000 to 20000 miles before needing replacement. We have customers with many more miles than that without replacement but it's a good idea to inspect the tensioner and roller at every tire change.
The torsion arm has been replaced with an anodized billet aluminum arm with twin bearings at the pivot point as opposed to a plastic arm with a bushing at the pivot point. This is a little overkill on our part but it's just as easy to make it bulletproof when you're starting from scratch. We also added a third mounting hole to allow the same part to work on the F3 and the RT. The holes are now slotted for easy of alignment when installing. A spacer will be provided for the RT and F3. This spacer goes under the bracket to allow of clearance of the frame member on the RT. The RT uses the center hole and the whole to the left of center and the F3 uses the center hole and the hole right of center (next to the pivot arm)and the spacer goes on top of the bracket on the F3.

Big Difference
Could tell a big difference after installation, vibration is gone at speeds of 60 to 70+, could even tell at 45-55.

Belt Tensioner
Seems to work a little better than the plastic brp tensioner. I still get some vibes @3800-4000 rpm. I tried to eyeball the alignment the best I could so tracking would be near perfect. The pulley upgrade I bought previously disintegrated.

IPS™ BELT TENSIONER / CAN AM® SPYDER F3
My old tensioner that came with my F3-S had the tension spring break. So, I left on my trip to New England from Florida without one. From about 72-77 MPH there's a very noticeable vibration throughout the bike from belt vibration. I installed the new tensioner (the hardest part was removing the Tupperware) and in the range of 72-77 mph now it's smooth like the rest of the range.

Belt Tensioner
Bought for my F3 have about 150 miles on it now. Seems to be doing a good job, no vibration noticed. Had to elongate the mounting holes to get it precisely aligned with the belt.

Great product as usual
This is a must have for an F3. Should have had it on it from the factory. Gets rid of that pesky vibration at higher speeds and makes high speeds much smoother on the bike. Easy as pie install.

2021 F3-T belt vibration dampener
Procrastinating pays off. I waited to buy the product. When I decided to finally buy, I got the new updated version, and on sale. Watched Lamonster's install video and the install was very easy. I have not felt the belt vibrating since the install.

Adios Belt Vibration
I should have added this sooner. Great product, easy to install (follow the video if needed). Definitely makes a difference and removes the belt vibration especially at speeds over 50 mph. Not sure why Can Am didn't have something like this on such a long belt. Lamonster did a great job fixing Can Am's short coming, as they seem to continuously do. Great job Lamonster!
