IPS stands for In Plain Sight. This is a key holder I made many years ago for my other bikes and when I made it for the Spyder people went crazy. I went into full production in 2010 and sales have not slowed down since.
We do not recommend you leave your key in your Spyder at all times but you could if you wanted to because most folks have no idea what it is. If you leave the cap off the bottom you can pull your key out in seconds if you like.
The pictures and the video are not up to date but everything is the same other than we no longer offer them in silver. It comes in black with accent cut only. This really dresses up a custom Spyder and looks great on a stock Spyder too. It comes with the IPS logo milled into the key cover.

Effective In Bike Hide a Key
I have used one of these since 2010 on my RT s and love the convenience. I forget to take my key at least half the time when I don't have this so when I added my F3 it seemed like only a logical protection.

It's exactly what I thought it would be. Construction is spot on and solid. Feels substantial in your hands and feels like it will out last the bike. Also need factor is 10+ on this one and it gets me some gear head cred' when I'm with the local Spyder riders chapter here in LA....lol
