Our brake rods lower your brake pedal 1 1/2" from the stock potion. So that you can pivot your foot to the pedal without lifting your foot. Which means you will have better control over your bike even in a panic situation.
Order according to your existing foot potion you use on your bike.
We've been modifying brake linkage since 2015 and have many 1000's of miles of testing this mod. We've debated making the brake rod fully adjustable but in the end we decided that was a bad idea when the possibility to install it wrong was a very real issue. We went with a fixed location for this reason. It's as simple as removing your brake linkage and installing ours. These have been tested in the #2, #3, #4 and #5 position. These are the most popular link location. The stock F3 comes in the #3 position.

The end of the video says they will work with stock pegs (our mistake). They don't work well with stock pegs because you can drop the back of your foot lower than you can on a floorboard so the angle is not the same as it would be for the boards.

Brake rod
This probably the best modification you can do to a F3 L , I can set my heel down and hover over the brake it seems to make feel like a natural transition moving for either the floor boards or my Hiway pegs. Great job !!!! Thanks

F3 Brake Rod
I am so glad I bought this product…I no longer have to lift my foot up off the floorboard to apply the brake. It makes braking in turns a lot less stressful too. Awesome ….super easy mod. I had this installed within 15 minutes. I will advise anyone making this modification to practice in an open area or parking lot so you can regain muscle memory on where to put your foot to apply the brake. It took me a few rides to break the habit of wanting to lift my foot.

BRP - Take Note!!!
Why does it take Lamont & Jacob to show BRP the way things should be right from the start??? Got the #2 brake linkage - super easy install (even for the mechanically challenged, like myself), because of the great install videos. The part is far better crafted than the OEM part. And you will be riding the way you should have been all along. Thanks, boys!!

Awesome solution for the Spider F3T
My wife loves her new Spider. Except for the brake pedal angle. Too steep and causes pain in her hip. I installed this brake rod in 15 minutes. Test drove it with some hard stops and it works perfectly. My wife is completely satisfied. If she’s happy, I’m happy. Money well spent,
