Order brake rod per your floorboard position, Floorboards in position #3 NEEDs our #3 rod.
Our brake rods lower your brake pedal 1 1/2" from the stock potion. So that you can pivot your foot to the pedal without lifting your foot. Which means you will have better control over your bike even in a panic situation.
Order according to your existing foot potion you use on your bike.
We've been modifying brake linkage since 2015 and have many 1000's of miles of testing this mod. We've debated making the brake rod fully adjustable but in the end we decided that was a bad idea when the possibility to install it wrong was a very real issue. We went with a fixed location for this reason. It's as simple as removing your brake linkage and installing ours. These have been tested in the #2, #3, #4 and #5 position. These are the most popular link location. The stock F3 comes in the #3 position.

DISCLAIMER: These are to be used with the OEM floorboards and Lamonster Black Dymond Boards only. Will NOT work with peg bikes
The end of the video says they will work with stock pegs (our mistake). They don't work well with stock pegs because you can drop the back of your foot lower than you can on a floorboard so the angle is not the same as it would be for the boards.

Easy to do, fast shipping. Keep in mind that the pedal not only is lower(better) but goes slightly more forward. Bike was in pos #4 (a little stretch for me) #3 works better for me at 6' and 29" inseam.

Shortened Brake rod
It works great. I’ve had hip surgery and was having difficulty lifting my leg and foot up onto the brake lever. This lowers the lever enough that it is almost a swivel on my heel to step on the brake. Perfect! The installation was easy and took about 5 minutes.

Just installed this break rod. Now, my foot is hovering over the break pedal. All you have to do is press down with your foot. Good bye sore right knee! Awesome product!
