Perfect Kit for my 2009 Spyder SE5
Once I was able to determine what size HCM oil filter (small one in pic)I needed for my 2009 Spyder SE5 this was the perfect kit for my Spyder. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the description does not mention that there are two sizes of HCM filters. Initially my model year (could be others but I'm not sure) were shipped with a shorter <1inch HCM filter but a service bulletin had them change over to a longer ~1 3/8 filter. Most units were swapped over to this longer filter and filter cap at their first service but some may still have the shorter filter. The only way to tell is to measure the filter cap and if yours is approximately 7/8" then you have the original filter but if it measures approximately 1 3/8" then you have the longer one and this kit will work for you. Lamonster should detail this in their description of this kit since they do not offer an option for the shorter filter.
