These days, most vehicles are "Drive-by-Wire" (called ECT or ECM), and not cable driven like the old days (called the Bowden cable). The modern systems typically suffer from excessive signal delay, which is where the PedalBox steps in and is able to unlock the vehicle's full potential. What exactly does the PedalBox offer? The "Throttle Response" curve shows the speed at which an engine responds to the driver's pressing of the accelerator. Poor response is clearly evident, especially under hard acceleration.

Just installed this on my ‘22 RTL. Definite game changer. It feels like a totally different machine. I find I’m using city mode to maneuver around my garage and driveway but like sport + 2 for out on the road.

Love it! Note, I am using the app because I left the Pedal Box in a space under the right front speaker, so I did not need to Mount on handle bars.

I don't feel the "surge" in performance so much. Shifting is much smother. Bluetooth control with phone works very well.

I purchased the pedal box for my 2020 RTL. Even though this model is considered a long ride cruiser I like to hit the corners once and a while. I installed and programmed it per lamonsters video, very easy! Got out for the first time with it in the middle of city mode and was quite impressed with the throttle response . This setting might be my favorite for two up riding ,at least until I get used to the instantaneous throttle response of sport and sport+. Do I like it? You bet! Do I think it is worth the money? Oh yeah! Do you need one? I can’t answer that but I can say the pedal box gives the most value for the price of any performance part I’ve ever purchased ( bang for the buck) . I’m an old hot rodder from the 60s and this is the cheapest performance I’ve purchased.
