Stage 2 / Adjustment Features
Rebound
Controls the speed at which the shock absorber returns to its fully extended position after being compressed, keeping the wheels on the ground for maximum traction and reducing the recoil effect caused by the spring pressure pushing back after being compressed.
To use, turn the adjuster clockwise to slow down the rebound or turn counter-clockwise to speed up the rebound.
Preload
Available as a manual threaded adjuster or convenient remote hydraulic preload adjuster. Lets the rider fine-tune the initial force applied on the springs and precisely balance the weight distribution across the front and rear of the vehicle while setting up the ride height (sag) and to lower or raise the vehicle to adapt to various situations or to suit your personal preference.
To use, turn the preload adjustment ring clockwise (from top of the shock) to increase preload and raise the vehicle or turn counter-clockwise to reduce preload and lower the vehicle.

Stage 2 ELKA shocks
I recently had the ELKA stage 2 front shocks installed on our 2015 Spyder, the bike now handles better than it ever has and corners so much better. I highly recommend them to replace the shocks that came on the bike originally.

Elka shocks
Rides and handles 100 percent better than before. No need to remove any panels for installation just need a needle nose vice grips to remove and replace the top bolt.

ELKA® SUSPENSION STAGE 2 ELKA® SHOCKS (FRONT SET) CAN AM® SPYDER RT / RT-S / RT-LTD 2014+
Installed the Baja Ron anti sway bar and rode it for two weeks and experienced significant improvement with respect to handling on rolling hills and twisties. Made a leap of faith and proceeded to install the stage 2 shocks. Installation was straight forward, I did experience a tad bit of frustration installing the top bolt due to the size of my hands but the wifey came to the rescue. It’s truly a 30 minute install. The result was dramatic. Took a nice long 225 mile test ride—rolling hills and twisties. The suspension stuck to road and allowed me to push the bike to new levels. The bike now rides as it should have from the factory, less effort and energy used fighting the suspension up front. In terms of receipt of the product, filled out the form and they arrived quickly and to specification. After numerous rides I wished I had swapped out the entire suspension earlier. Excellent and dramatic improvement. Another happy Lamonster Garage customer experience in the books! Thanks for letting me comment.

Game changer ,bumps are less bumpy!
After I purchased my can-am 2 years ago, a friend told me stock shocks are crap! After I installed Elka shocks, I’ve realized my friend was totally right!

Elka Shocks
After fighting Handling issues with the stock suspension I decided to spend the money and install the Elka shocks, what a difference! No wallowing thru the corners fighting for control. Riding two up or alone the ride is fantastic and well worth the investment.

After installing the shocks the ride and handling is so much better ! I had already installed the BajaRon’s sway bar and that helped a lot but the shocks are awesome !! The cornering is so much smoother and quicker. The stability on the highway is much improved also. Very happy with my purchase !
